          • Kristie WilderKristie Wilder, Executive Director

            Kristie is the original founder and director of iWag. You can read her biography here. She divides her time between the iWag facilities in Decatur, GA and Temple, GA. She has owned and operated dog care facilities since 1996, specializing in behavior and training, especially for rescue dogs. Outside of iWag, Kristie enjoys Crossfit, outdoor activities, reading and travelling whenever the dogs let her get away!

          • Mickie Colwell

            Mickie has been with iWag since July 2019. She grew up with many dogs and helped her grandmother rehabilitate small mammals of many shapes and sizes. She realized she had a passion for dogs when she found her best friend, Wally while she was in college. Mickie hopes to have a small rescue of her own one day as well as a successful website where others can learn about dog rescue and connect easily!

            Carree Keyser Adcock – Dog Care Team

            Carree has been a volunteer at iWag since 2014. She is a full-time teacher, and volunteers whenever she can. For the last two summers she’s worked at the Decatur location and calls it her “happy place”. Carree is a foster failure to Porter, and dog mama to Jaylee. She considers it an honor to be a part of such an awesome organization!

            DarianDarian Stephens, Manager & Head Trainer

            Darian has been with iWag since February 2016. She loves working with the dogs everyday and she enjoys training them and seeing them progress so that they can be a joy to their new parents. She has a menagerie of her own at home, including everything from mini horses and pigs to chinchillas and pythons, and of course, an awesome pack of rescue dogs. She and her daughter hope to one day have their own rescue for homeless animals of all kinds.

          • PaytonPayton Stephens, Assistant Manager

            Payton has been with iWag since February 2020. She started out volunteering when she had time off of her former job. She realized she loved being with the dogs more than being at her other job. She then decided to quit and come work with us. Ever since she has been very happy about growing in the dog rescue community and hopes to stay with it for many more years ahead!

        • TaylorTaylor Harbuck

          Taylor has been with iWag since November 2015. She grew up to love dogs and take are of dogs of all shapes and sizes, gaining experience for her future. Being an animal lover, she left her previous job in a heartbeat to work here. She loves being outdoors and going fishing. She’s currently in college pursuing her dream job.

          EmilyEmily Willett – Dog Care Team

          Emily has been with iWag since September 2019. She absolutely loves her job and getting to do what she loves the most, taking care of animals! Growing up, animals have always a passion for Emily. She also loves to paint on the side. One of Emily’s hidden talents that she found out while working here is drawing blood for heartworm tests!

          Charlie (1)Charlie Perry – Dog Care Team

          Charlie has been with iWag since January 2020 and hasn’t looked back. He grew up on a cattle ranch, so no surprise he became an animal lover. In his spare time, he likes to fish and spend time with his cows. He hopes one day to become a park or wildlife ranger.

          Andi Andi Willis – Dog Care Team

          Andi Willis joined our team at iWag in February 2020 and hasn’t looked back. When Andi isn’t working, she’s home taking care of her two personal rescue dogs and her four year old son, Nolan. Just recently her heart was led to foster our very own iWag dogs to get them better prepared for their future homes; she doesn’t mind the extra tail wags everyday either! Andi has a big passion for animals and hopes all the good boys and girls find their fur-ever home soon!

        Arysta has been with Iwag since July 2020. She has learned so much working here and is excited to learn more. This has been her dream job since she was a little girl. Being able to work here, take care, and help the dogs find there forever home is a true blessing that life has given me. She plans to pursue a career in getting her degree in veterinary medicine.

      • MakaylaMakayla Gilbert – Dog Care Team

        Makayla joined iWag in August 2020. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science at Berry College in hopes to accomplish her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. She lives at home with her dog Misty, an 8 year old Cathoula Mix, and loves to paint and draw in her spare time.

        Amy has been a volunteer at iWag since September, 2013. She has a full-time job, but loves to come to her “therapy” at least 1-2 days a week. She usually does whatever is needed, is considered the “bath queen”, and loves working with the animals especially the seniors and special needs. Amy enjoys working with animals, playing sports, travelling, and numerous other hobbies.

      •  SuzanneSuzanne Jamison

        Suzanne has been a volunteer at iWag since March 2016. She is a full-time accountant who comes by her love of dogs from her Dad. Her Dad opened his dog grooming business in Tulsa in 1961 and has been in the same location for 57 years. Suzanne is married with three fur babies. In her spare time, she loves traveling, photography, baking and supporting Arsenal FC.
