URGENT UPDATE FOR IWAG DECATUR

iWag Decatur is now (at least temporarily) closed

Dear Friends of iWag,

On behalf of our team, I would like to thank you for your support during this challenging time.  And I would like to provide you an update for each area of our business affected by the hopefully temporary closing of our Decatur facility.

Decatur location:  We had to spend the month of September closing down our Decatur facility as we have not had a new home to go to.  While we are still searching, the real estate and economic climates are not cooperating.  It’s very difficult to find a suitable property on which to legally operate a dog care facility to begin with and even more difficult at this point in time.  But we are not giving up.

Temple location:  NOTHING has changed with the operation of our Temple location.  We continue to provide boarding, daycare and training service as well as sancutary and rescue for the dogs remaining in our adoption program.  Shuttle services also continue as noted below.

Shuttles:

  • Shuttles continue to depart Decatur at 8:30am
  • Pickups around the perimeter continue as usual.
  • We can no longer hold dogs going home past 2pm since we do not have a facility in town.  Please book accordingly if you will not be able to meet the shuttle by 2pm.
  • For some locations, we may be able to drop your dogs off at your home if you grant us access.
  • Shuttle schedule may change during peak times.
  • Shuttles are not available on federal holidays, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.
  • All shuttles can be coordinated and questions answered
by contacting Drew directly at 423-645-9326.

Our goal, as always, is to provide you excellent service and quality of care fo ryour pets that we love.  Your patronage means the world to us.  Thank you as always for trusting us to do our job with care and compassion.

Sincerely,

Kristie Wilder
