In 2015, we did our first educational programs and look forward to doing many more! We currently offer programs where we bring dogs to school and civic groups. And we offer opportunities where groups of children can come visit and volunteer making dog toys, dog treats and grooming and playing with carefully selected dogs in our care. These programs are currently evolving. We really enjoy them and hope that they help educate children about our homeless pet crisis as well as teach them respect and compassion for companion animals in general.
